Morphos Dreadlock Parlor Policies
We hope that you will not need to cancel your appointment. We do our best to meet your scheduling needs and request that you adhere to our cancellation policy. We are a very busy one chair salon. Canceling your appointment without notice affects clients that are in urgent need of care. We set aside an entire day for dreadlock installation. Unless otherwise stated, we require 48 hour notice for cancellations and rescheduling appointments. Failure to cancel or reschedule within this time frame will result in loss of your deposit. Upon the 2nd instance of a late cancellation or “no show” you will be required to pre-pay for appointments.
We offer a free 15-minute consultation by appointment to discuss anything and everything you’d like to have done. This gives you the opportunity to check out our salon and determine if what you plan on doing with your hair will work for you.
A deposit will be required for new clients. Deposits will be applied to your appointment upon arrival. Deposits are non-refundable and can be held for 30 days allowing you to reschedule your appointment in adherence to the cancellation policy.
$75 for a new maintenance client
$200 for a new dread install client
In order to give our clients one on one attention, we ask for at least 48 hours notice to cancel, reschedule, or make any changes to your appointment. We understand that sometimes life gets in the way and last-minute cancellations are beyond your control. Please know that this prevents us from filling your appointment slot with another customer. When making appointments, Morphos Dreadlock Parlor reserves the right to collect a deposit or credit card information and will be charged.
Please note: This policy also applies to the canceling of additional services. If you are scheduled for more than one service during your appointment time and decide to decline a service you were scheduled for, proper notice must be given, with respect to the above mentioned time guidelines. Otherwise, you will be charged for the services you booked.
Austin Texas is known to have horrible traffic. With that in mind, PLEASE plan ahead. We schedule with accuracy and our clients love us for that. For us to accommodate each patron in a timely manner, we ask that you be on time for your appointment. Life happens and if you are running a few minutes behind, we can hold your appointment for up to 15 minutes provided we hear from you. After 20 minutes we reserve the right to cancel your appointment and charge the full deposit amount.
